SiriusXM's programming is great. Plenty of music channels, talk, sports, you name it. But there's a problem: for years, SiriusXM has been creating unnecessary obstacles for third-party developers.
Time and again, these unnecessary obstacles put up by SiriusXM have broken third-party clients, forcing listeners to use SiriusXM's web player to access their subscriptions online. Third-party developers have worked around the problems to continue providing listeners with the tools you've shown you love. However, this sort of arms race is both expensive and unsustainable. We want to put an end to it, and we need your help.
At the end of the day, it's your subscription. You're paying to access the content, and you deserve the freedom to listen any way you choose. If you agree, please let SiriusXM know how you feel. Tell SiriusXM to unlock satellite radio on your desktop!
Your content is great, and so I pay you to access it. Part of enjoying the content is listening the way I prefer, with a third-party player. Third-party players bring extra features simply not possible with web-based playback
Please let me use a third-party player with my paid SiriusXM subscription! Unlock satellite radio, and support third party applications like Pulsar and Radium.
